What??? The problem is you're not considering heightism. Someone can crack height jokes all day in the workplace. If a short chap were to go to HR complaining about, they'd probably laugh the case out of their office. If a guy were to crack jokes on my weight, we could get him fired instantly. There is no comparison. So I'd bet someone can fire someone with no impunity with height as the reason, especially in a labor job. Only Michigan has height discrimination laws.

It's nothing to worry about. If you're 17, you're most likely done. There are plenty of people who have had growth spurts as late as 20, but it's nothing to dwell on. Plan out things and prepare yourself for living a fulfilling life. Do well in school and either get into a great university a learn a trade that you will love.

Some of us don't care, some of us get depressed, some of us embrace it. At what age did you stop giving a crap about your height? How do you feal with others who put you down for being short?
