Trying to get in better shape

What do you all do? I want to find something and stick with it. Lose a bit of fat and replace it with muscle. I have been eating better lately and it is showing in the form of weight loss. Not I need to start working out.

How hard is it for you to pack on muscle?

I have been having issues with this lately. I am not sure if it is because I am older or what. I spend 2 hours in the gym 3 days a week. I been at it for 6 weeks now and have noticed no new growth. I believe I lost some weight but I don't see my arms or anything getting bigger.

Does more muscle make you look shorter?

I know two guys. They are the same height, about 5'10 each. One is thin, like 28 inch waist or so. The other is about like 34... He has bigger arms and legs as well. When I see them next to each other, the thinner dude looks taller for some reason, even though I know he isn't.

Been using kettlebells.

I wanted to share that I have been using them, well, rather one (20 pounds) for about a week and I am already seeing changing happening in my body. I think I put on a bit of muscle already and I look more toned.

Can weight lifting stunt growth?

My friend' younger brother is a lot shorter than he is, and short than their father as well. He is the same height as their mom actually. He started body building when he was 14 so I am curious if this can happen?

Looking to lose some weight

So I gained like 20ish pounds over the last year or so and I would like to drop it by September. Any tips? I think 10 pounds a month is a good and reasonable amount.

I saw some people doing this in the park the other day and it looked like fun and I never say that when it comes to working out. haha
