This video is from 11 years ago or so. They had two men with similar looks and dressed identically walk around the streets of NYC. They asked random strangers on the street to guess their profession and salary.
When they brought out the 6'4 man, people guessed that he was a Doctor, Lawyer, Engineer or Business Tycoon making $500,000/yr. One man said, "I wish I had his height".
When they brought out the 5'2 man, one woman exclaimed, "Oh my god, he's so little!". Then she guessed, "I don't know, maybe he's a cook!" She then guessed that he made around $20,000 a year" Another woman said, "he doesn't look happy".
Newsweek reports on a recent study which combed through data to determine which states had the shortest and tallest men. The tallest men are where you would most expect, the Midwest, while the shorter men are also exactly where you'd most expect, the coasts.

According to a study published in "Evolutionary Psychology" by two researchers from Chapman University, "taller men do not have a history of more sex partners than average height or short men", that is if you are at least 5'4. Numbers decrease steadily thereafter.
The researchers due to their own positive that they would find as assumed that taller men would fair better, but this wasn't the case.
