Do you get recognition from your employers?

Any of you been in your position for a long time and feel as if your height has a reason to do with you not getting promoted? I work in Engineering and do not feel my height has held me back, but I have friends who work in other disciplines who say they feel it has. This article is old, and I have heard of taller men getting paid more than us shorter men.

I know someone who has his height hold him back. He eventually called them out on it and threatended to bring this to the attention of several local new channels. He ended up getting a raise but after he did, he took all 3 weeks paid VK and then quit shortly after. He ended up finding a better paying job with people who don't promote heightism.

Good for him! We all need to stand up for ourselves when we are attacked directly.
