due mostly to dating apps & social media, heightism is exponentially worse now than it was in the 90's & prior.  it's called sexual inflation as what used to be the gold standard of men for women is now merely the very lowest minimum to even begin to be considered.

I remember seeing this episode on re-runs as a kid. Looking back, it was one of the first times I saw heightism discussed with the "George Jefferson" character discussing what it was like being teased during childhood (not seen here in this clip, it was later in the episode).

If you think about it, that "short businessman association" is kind of like what this site is now and would've had the same mission and purpose since the internet and social media certainly didn't exist back then. Show that heightism and shorter men being hyper aware of their unique position has always been a thing.
