Even I cannot deny this, BUT more so online and via social media. For some reason, I'm still able to go out and connect with people and land dates. Then again, this could be an age group thing.

I have friends who arbitrarily espouse this nonsense that their men have to be six feet or above and its embarrasing beause that's their starting point.

OK Cupid did a few studies on height preferences a in 2011 and 2013 and has refused to do one since. 

I too am curious about how that would play out here in the states.

Spot on. It's not like height preferences didn't exist before, but now it's like ten fold what it was even five years ago.
