I have seen a number of threads on social networks and forums where a shorter man is bummed about his ex dating a taller man. I wanted to share something... If you're under average in height, even 5'8, there is over 50% of men out there taller than you are. If you are shorter than 5'5, there will even be some women who are taller. So by this math, an ex is more likely to be with a man taller than you.

I am sharing this because I feel like it is something that needs to be said. Not all women do this on purpose, it just happens this way. So don't let it effect your confidence!

I never gave it much thought myself. I guess this makes sense though. I mean we can't all assume our ex girlfriends are doing it on purpose. Yes, some do but most don't.

That is interesting. I know the average male height is 5'9 so above is above average, below is below average. According to my sister, the most attractive men fall between 5'8 and 6'2. lol

That is something I hadn't thought of myself but I have had more tall boyfriends then short ones so I guess it makes sense.

Same here, it isn't something I considered but after reading this, I hope it makes dudes feel better when they get dumped for someone taller or their ex starts dating someone taller.
