The founder of Purple Hat Menswear formed the company in 2015 after being frustrated at the lack of options available to men of his 5'5 stocky build and being relegated to settling for XL sizes from premium brands. To address this, the company has created a new sizing chart which takes into account height, weight and body shape to deliver clothes that fit with perfect proportions. Say goodbye to excess fabric, sleeves that are too long and chest areas that are too baggy or too tight.

With a size standard that has been reduced to 5'6 from 5'11, a collar size skimmed down to 41", chest size brought down to 43" from the standard 45" and center back that has been decreased to 28 1/2" from 31", Purple Hat is serious about shirt design for the 1/3 of men who fall in the shorter than average range. Forget about items coming in just one size. Their sizing chart shows everything in their line from an XS to L available at Purple Hat adjusted measurements.
