Though not drawing the crowds and taking the money that he did in the days of yore, Manny "Pac-Man" Pacquiao took back the WBO Title in his re-match against established boxer Timothy Bradley last Saturday night (4/12/2014).
The rematch comes after a disappointing 2012 loss where Bradley won after performing well against Pacquiao in later rounds, winning 115-113 on the score cards of two judges and losing by the same margin on the score card of the third. The Associated Press also backed Pacquiao as the winner in that previous fight.
According to the ESPN blog, though the rematch played out very differently than the first fight, it ultimately turned out the same results. Final scores read 116-112 twice and 118-110 for Pacquiao with Bradley winning somewhere between two and four rounds.
Boxing enthusiasts the world over wish for a matchup between Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather.
