Lenny Kravitz

Lenny Kravitz was born in Brooklyn, New York on May 26, 1964. Being a talented and successful recording and influential rock and soul artist for over three decades; his premiere album was released in 1989. He went on to win multiple Grammy awards and record several more multi-platinum records. He was married to the famous Lisa Bonet of the hit television series "The Cosby Show". Kravitz stands at just 5'6 and often wears stylish footwear with modest heels like the man he credits as being a major influence on his musical style, Prince. After their divorce his ex-wife went on to marry 6'4 Jason Momoa. While Bonet went on to bigger men, Kravitz went on to bigger things, dwarfing his ex-wifes dwindling career starring in big budget movies and touring extensively.

Here, Kravitz sports a pinstripe blazer with a glossy satin lapel. The pinstripes are shiny black which creates a glossy/matte mix. His lower half is reminiscent of the late 90s glam rock look with his signature leather pants and gold metallic boots giving a crisp sparkly appearance all which further accent the shine provided by the lapel of his blazer. To round out the outfit, he rocks and open collared white mini polka dot on black button down with a low-cut v-neck black tee underneath. Being the rock star he is, he makes sure black is the predominant color. The mix of fabrics and textures (wool, leather, cotton, metallic, pinstripes, polka dots and solids) is daring and keeps the overall look classic, yet modern.

The Nu-Rastafarian Look

Here we can Kravitz is identifying with his Caribbean roots (his mother Roxie Roker who starred in the 1970s hit sitcom The Jeffersons was of Bahamian descent), blending an island look with his rock repertoire. He sports a tipped beanie on his head and leather jeans with suede biker boots on his lower half. Check out the unstructured blazer – all black. The accessories - Ray-Ban aviators, a lightweight silk scarf and pendant chains make his outfit pop. The overall look is comfy, casual but sleek and trendy.

Marc Anthony

Marco Antonio Muñiz as born in New York City on September 16, 1968. He is considered by many the most successful and recognizable salsero of this generation. He has been on the scene since the 1980s starting out as backing vocalist for groups hit Latin-Pop groups Menudo and the Latin Rascals, then as a solo Freestyle artist. By the mid 1990s, the 5'6 singer was selling millions of records singing in his native tongue of Spanish. Marc Anthony has since made a name for himself not just in music, but because of his personal life. He has been married to some of the world's most beautiful women, the most famous being Puerto Rican mega-celebrity singer, actress and dancer, Jennifer Lopez. They have two kids together. Anthony also a hit in the fashion world with a clothing line in his name sold at mass merchandiser Kohl's.

Anthony attended the 2015 Billboard Latin Music Awards in Miami wearing a fitted white blazer with white buttons and silver handkerchief, slim straight fitted black trousers and a white shirt. The entire outfit is complimented with nice shiny black loafers, dark shades and an accessory on the arm. His outfit contrasted well with his wife’s getup.

Here Anthony is seen sporting a charcoal grey slim fitted suit (which doesn't appear to be custom/bespoke as the sleeves extend all the way down to the hands), with a regular-width black tie and black patent leather shoes at the 22nd Annual BMI Latin Music Awards. Although there are no visible accessories, the outfit screams both minimalist and sleek. Sometimes a less is more. As with most of Anthony's outfits, they compliment his slim physique extremely well. His clothing choices help him to stand out amongst his average height and tall peers.
