When we first started dating 4 years ago, he was just over 5'6. About a year ago, he started practicing proper posture for his herniated disk in his back. He got it from a car accident. Anyways, I noticed a few months ago that he appeared taller. Sure enough! He was a whole inch taller! I asked his doctor if this could happen and he said when proper posture is practiced, it lengthens the spine. So that is something you guys can try if you want. He said in most cases it is only a .25" difference but some have gained over an inch.
I have never shamed a man for being short but I have been shamed by a number of men for being short as well as being "chubby". I get that some women who are materialistic will be more about height than anything else, but we aren't all like that! My fiance to be is 5'7 and I am only 5' so he makes me feel amazingly safe.
My name is Jane. Yes, I am a female. I joined because I am not only short myself, but my fiance is as well. He told me it is harder to be a short man than it is to be a short woman so I am here to better understand what happens.
