You may all remember Brock McGoff who runs a fashion blog and website called "The Modest Man" (TMM). Active for years, TMM acted as one of the few, if not the only resource online for shorter men aspiring to dress, look and feel great. Whether it be fashion tips, advice or leads to clothing manufacturers who catered to men under 5'9, TMM was the site you could always count on. Some three years in of regular posting, the TMM site has grown in readership and has strong support from its users and fashion entities alike. The success has left McGoff to ponder what the next step should be and if the most recent news from is site is any reason to speculate, that next step would be to realize his own dreams - to create his own clothing line. We're happy to share that news with our readers!

In a post titled, "Introducing The Modest Man Casual Button Up Shirt", it is revealed that the shirts are in fact in production and ready for pre-order. An early kudos is certainly in order as the entire line is purportedly handmade in the USA with the material being Japanese cotton. At a price of $98 per shirt, they are a little pricey, but as with all startups, manufacturing costs are typically high. Remember however that these shirts are designed with shorter men in mind, so no worry about finding a tailor or praying that the slim fit XS you see on the rack at your friendly neighborhood retailer actually fits. The Modest Man shirts are shipped and made to fit right out of the packaging. Now that's fashion for short men.

At the moment, there are three shirts in the line. Each of them offer a slim tailored fit and the size of the sleeves have been scaled back just enough to prevent the rolling up problem that shorter men often have with shirts off of the rack. The body length was also tailored so it doesn't go too far below the waist allowing it to be worn untucked. The three shirts available are as follows: The Aziz, The Elijah and The Jason. All three shirts are aimed at the Dress Casual demographic, so dress shirt wearers will have to look elsewhere or wait for TMM to expand.

While the line is ready for pre-orders, the items will not be on the market until February 2016. This gives us plenty of time for updates and more exciting news. If you're not interested in the shirts, at least continue to help support The Modest Man by visiting the site and dropping some comments. It is awesome to witness this expanding market of designers now specifically addressing the fashion needs of the millions of short men who live around the globe.
