LL is not accepted even by many other men who have done LL! On one LL forum there were a lot of men who seemed to be horrified that a man who wasn't short would do LL. While there are many reasons LL is not accepted, I think one reason is that it is assumed that men (particularly white men) are super dominant and powerful. For someone with that belief, a man who has LL is making himself more dominant and more powerful since we associate being tall with dominance and power. They believe that they are somehow oppressed by a man doing LL. Obviously, this is absurd, but it seems like that is how they feel. Even people who have not accepted the basis of this reasoning can still be influenced by it.

GainedSomeInches, unfortunately, I'm not surprised that you got a lot of hateful private messages. I know that if I posted my heights before LL and after LL I would get just as much hate mail, probably more.

I think you mean that many women lack confidence in a male's height that is shorter than average, particularly being seen with one in a romantic context because it has some affect on their perceived status. This is not just women. You can see young guys ostracizing smaller men so they can be perceived as being higher up on the hierarchy.

The short answer is no. Some motivation would be creating the actual site. Here's the long answer:

Society grants tall men status, and women are attracted to that. Thus, on paper, if you ask a woman what she would prefer in a man, she's almost always going to prefer a man who is tall regardless of her own height. I'm sure you know this already.

While Tall Women aren't stigmatized in adult age in the same way short men are, they are acutely aware of how their height makes them stand out and for some can be a constant insecurity if they are extremely tall where it becomes "hard" to find a man (because she will insist like her average and tall counterparts that she must have a man who is tall-er).

The point is that quite a few tall women will date shorter men, but this shortness is relative. For example, a 6'0 woman might be okay with dating someone who is 5'10, shorter but still average height for a man.

There are cases where tall women will date short men, but it is not as common. This means that a tall woman-short man focused site might not get much traction because it would be viewed as a fetish (possibly).

You would be better off seeking really tall women on normal dating sites. I actually had a woman 6'3 message me on a dating app. Go figure.

Welcome to Dating 101 where women can be as choosy as she wants no matter what she looks like and where men can only be choosy if they look like greek gods. I mean this on a social level.
