Issues with pictures?

So my cousin, who is also short (he is 5'6) joined a few online dating sites over the last, maybe 8 months or so. So many women gush over his blue eyes, tanned skin, and thick dark hair. He has been on, maybe 7 different dates that were from these site and 6 of the 7 were disapointed. Like a few never called him, a few ended the date with saying "you're not my type" and one even said "Woah, you are shorter than I imagined!" and left him before the date even began. The one date that did end well where they really hit it off, he was in the middle of a divorce and ended up getting back with her husband. So he struck out 7 times.

He was saying how his height is clearly listed yet these women keep assuming he is taller than her is. Has this ever happened with you or someone you know? What can he do to make his picture show he is not some 6ft tall dude?

It is a shame that this happens though. I mean the height is listed on mot of these sites right on the front page. These women are interested, set up a date - see the guy is short then BAM! "You're Not My TYPE." yet talking back and forth online was amazing.. Sorry a bit of a rant from personally experience. Women say men are shallow. Pfff.

Tell him to stand by a door. That is the easiest way a woman can see height clearly without you standing next to a yard stick or something lol

That probably explains why your height had little impact on your life. Good story!

This is probably one of the worst things I've read. It doesn't matter how tall you are. Embrace your height. That's the whole point of this site.

A man an be 6' tall or 5' tall but if he lacks confidence in his ability, then it is going to turn a woman off. I think it is amazing when I meet a man who is comfortable in his skin, no matter the height. So many people are ashamed of their bodies. It is sad.

If a woman can't read numbers clearly listed on the profile, she is probably not worth the time lol

Take it from me, someone who was dating via online... Not all women or men are smart, just because they know how to use a computer!

I told him about the idea of standing next to the door and he took that. I for one wouldn't bother with a gal if she doesn't know how to read measurements that are listed on the profile page. lol
