I'm amazed at this 5'6 3/4 "little guy"'s track times as a High School athlete. Trindon Holliday is another great small player (5'5). He was a sprinter, played for LSU and was drafted by the Texans.

Ira Murchison is considered one of the greatest sprinters and he was just shy of 5'4.

Depends. Sprinters tend to be more compact and muscular. Usain Bolt was an anomaly.

 

Read this article about why a lot of track stars are on the short side.
