...And this ladies and gentleman is why height discrimination and comments that allude to gender norms in the workplace are against the law in NYC (as of 2023).

This was a long time coming too.

Judging by the comments on that post and what we all already know, the abuse shorter guys receive in the workplace and being blamed for reacting negatively to said abuse is to the point where it is encouraged.

The man was completely in the right by saying what he said. Sadly if he is not in the Big Apple, he may be the one who ends up in hot water through no fault of his own.

Sorry, but height jokes should be unacceptable in the workplace because it creates a hostile work environment and would not be acceptable if the same language was targeted at any other demographic.
