My mother would occasionally throw in shots to express her disappointment with how tall I did not become, but I also noticed that she would coddle more even though I am older. She would give my brothers tougher chores and listens to them for advice on how to accomplish certain tasks where she would be more hesitant and "mother like" when it came to me doing stuff (i.e. "be careful, "do it this way", etc).
We all know how women generally feel about height, but for all of us short guys who do well with women or get dates at all, what are some things women compliment you for?
The women I've dated always said they loved my eyes, physique, charisma and talents (I play guitar and sing). Height is a deal-breaker for some but there are other things about us which are dealmakers.
I was recently accused of overcompensating at work because I finished a huge report faster than the rest of my colleagues. It took them three days to finish what I completed in one business day. In a meeting following the report, one of my male colleagues called me a "brown noser who is obviously overcompensating for his height and wants to prove himself".
Geez, I thought about buying a huge truck to add fuel to the fire. How do you guys respond to these types of accusations. It's like I literally cannot do anything positive, otherwise I'll be "overcompensating".
I've been okay with sport jackets from H&M. 38R fits fine.
