That their life as a short man, is basically fear?

It is for my case.

Height Neurosis would be if all he thought about all day was his height, compared his height to others constantly and wants nothing but to be taller. I'm not much taller than you, and don't know much about your life. I could only say that you have to have things that you can involve yourself in that will keep your mind off of height. How much meaning does your life have to yourself personally?

All life ventures are based on "fear" or rather stress. Without stress people wouldn't do anything.

This stress is caused by hunger, shelter, reproduction and any other activity/processes for survival.

Doesn't matter if you are short or not.

Platitudes are not very convincing.

Once (or more) times a big guy threatens you with assault... and you know you are vulnerable. And at 5'2, for me, big guys start at a mere 5'7.

Maybe you feel intimidated by people who tower over you which is normal. Remember you always have others to help you when you are threatened. Law enforcement. You don't need to stand and fight, all you do is dial numbers. A girl with a gun always wins against any 6'3" man. Also intelligence and wisdom win every time. Knowing that there is help like cops and stuff for you, those guys won't bother you physically.

There is mind uploading coming up if you're still young and you might never have to worry of short stature. There is also negligible senesence advances which may allow you to live much longer by 2033. Living long is important cos it can give you the chance to one day to save up enough money for surgery or any powerful advances that may be available then that will make you grow more than 4-6 inches..

What gives hope is that one day, even if it's 20 years later, that things will get better. Technological advances and life extension eliminate my negativity of being short at 5'6". Things do get better. Out of 100% of the world population, how many people don't have any issues?

I'd say its way more than just 'an issue'.

Being weaker than other men is not a mere issue... it is life defining.

Why is being weaker than other men life defining? Isn't up to the guy who feels this way to take charge of his own life? Does he need to be physically stronger than other men to be an Engineer or Scientist? How about an Economist? It is absurd to suggest that the OP "should feel a certain way". Sounds like you are all dwelling on it too much.
