I knew he was on the short side but I had no idea he was that short. Too cool! I mean I bet it worked to his advantage with some of his tricks. Likely why he was so famous too. Having a smaller frame made for more death defying feats.

Meanwhile 6'1 Adrian Brody gets to play him on the History Channel. Do any of you remember how people wrote angry letters to protest Daniel Craig being James Bond because he was "only" 5'10?

Butt hurt people will always complain. I don't get why you would have someone that much taller than his real height though. Maybe 5'6... 5'7 tops. Going that over board would piss me off if I was big into his magic.
