"Man Up" ad on Melbourne Public Transit
post #1

This ad here is telling men to "man up" by wearing shoe lifts. Imagine the *bleep* show that would ensue if there was an ad with two good looking men starting some flat chested broad with an ad saying "Woman up"

This type of ad could never be displayed in the US because men would be to afraid to be caught walking into a store which sold lifts. That is something you do on the low low low! If that were on a Subway car, I think a guy would be laughed at in public for even reading it!

This disgusts me to the core. Is talking about heightism casually in public or men seeking to cover up their lack of height more acceptable in Australia than it is in the US or UK? I know women that would vomit if they knew their date was wearing lifts.

a woman hates a guy who is wearing lifts more than they are hating a regular short guy, it is like a guy going out with a girl he is attracted to only to find out she is a tran-sexual and has a penis

Why make short guys shame over their height in such a manner, and not let women shame over how tall they are also?

I don't agree with you. they hate it when they find out that their guy is wearing and isn't telling them. maybe. i wear insoles and it gives me confident when I'm about to talk with other guys. anyway, this isn't an absolute solution but it helps some freaks to be polite and don't mame fun of my heights.
