If a guy said, "I'm fit, why do I need to date someone who's fat", or, "I'm tall, why should I have to date someone who is short"..... "why does my fitness or height decide who I should date", there would be outrage.

All I got from this is that she doesn't want anyone to interfere with her having access to tall men.

This is not about her "height determining who she should date". If someone said she should be dating men who were 6' and up, she would not be giving the same pushback.
