The "upgrade" phenomenon happens and is not relegated to marriage. In High School, it could've been the girl who leaves her guy without a car for a guy with one. In College, it could've been the woman who leaves her bookworm boyfriend who lives with roommates for a guy with a nice apartment. In adulthood, it could be the girlfriend who leaves you for a pro-athlete or someone who makes a lot more money.
The equivalent for us is the guy who leaves his older wife for a younger more fit woman. Still, what I read there was horrible! Poor guy.
To be fair, there are a lot of not-so-nice things that people can and probably have said about her that could be considered "tragic". It's Tik-Tok and she's young, so she doesn't know any better.
I used to get this all of the time. I come from a caribbean background and was fed a lot of red and white meat as a kid precisely because my mother and father wanted me to grow up to be "big and strong". Still ended up 5'5 as an adult. 😂
Those genetics don't play. My father is 5'11 and my mother 5'2.
