Nice article. I really have no problem with bigger women who prefer tall and fit guys. What I don't like is when said bigger women have negative things to say about the men they don't find attractive, or shame men who aren't into their body types.
I never say mean things to women who struggle with their weight. I wish people had the same tact toward shorter men. Not so much recently, but when I first started out in the workplace, the people who would give me the most flack for being short were bigger women and very short women.
The author of an article in Slate Magazine was threatened with litigation over a write-up of encounter with this doctor. The article published was entitled, "My Encounter With the Creepy Craigslist Doctor" where she tried to tarnish his reputation with an insinuation.
Though, the article pre-dated the dating fiasco referenced on this thread by a few years, the write-up dragged him similarly, though with less reach than the networks.

You can find the Slate article here.
What does that even mean? You ever watch these shows where a woman is asked what her height preference is and she says something like "I'm 5'5 and as long as he's taller than me, which isn't hard to do".
Umm, yes it's not just "hard" to do, it's literally impossible. You are the height you are and can't do anything about it. But then these same people act as if weight-loss is "harder" by comparison.
All of this for 1.5 inches of extra height. The man was already 6'. This is insanity.
