We all like certain appearances in the opposite sex but being short and attractive is different then fat and attractive. Have you ever heard of a butter face? Well it is the opposite of that. She has a beautiful face but her body is fat. Men are more likely to overlook weight because it can be changed. Women don't over-look height because it can' be changed.

So this is something I want to vent about. My friend, who is all about being true, and sticking to her core lied. Her boyfriend is 5'6 maybe 5'7. Real sweet guy and gives her the world. Her parents live out of state and brought up meeting him. They have been seeing each other for like 3 months, so it isn't serious yet. Well she had them on speaker phone and was giggling away while her mom asked her questions. She asked the height question and she said idk like dad's height... Which he is easily 6ft. I met him! Why would she lie? I don't get it.

I read that men should lie about their height on dating sites to increase odds because 75% of women are 5'6 or shorter on these sites. They will likely cancel out a lot of possible meeting or matching because most dating sites do 2inches + taller men than the woman. I am not sure about this and I would like to know if anyone else heard this?

Welcome Cleo! I am a short gal myself and pretty much every guy I ever liked or dated was under 5'8. There are women who like men closer to their height!
