Don't let your height make you feel you can't be a boss. You can!
Robert Reich who is only 4'10 would always say "Don't let your height stop you". Great words my friend.
What's up with the personal attacks? This is a short guy forum where people get discuss things relevant to short guys. One of those common experiences is dealing with a lot of short women who not only prefer but date men much taller than they are (e.g. not short) exclusively. We have to deal with the "everyone is allowed to have their preferences" trash on other websites. The problem is that just about everyone has that "preference". It doesn't strike you as odd that women much taller than the 4'11-5'3 stock are okay with dating men a few inches taller than them but shorter women demand men much taller than themselves?
There is a mechanism at work there and while we all get that dating is not supposed to be fair, it does cause problems for short guys. So stop bashing.
Those are called elevators you big dummy lol. Not "shoes with lifts built in them". You are best off looking online. TallMenshoes has nice styles though you said you didn't like them. I would just check on ebay because I just did a search and found hundreds of good designs.
I personally wouldn't wear lifts and I'm an inch taller than you. I would be worried about that day when your shoes wore out or something happened where a shoe fell off. You would turn red. I know I would! I'd be very embarrased.
I came across this a few weeks ago and wanted to share this. For all of you who complain about altering pants or are too lazy to get it done, there is this group on Kickstarter who set up a campaign to fund their RipClips invention. Basically, it is a magnetic clip that automatically hems the pants your desired length by clipping the ends of the cuff to the inside of the pants. The result is a clean cut look that won't unfold and drag on the ground.
The campaign is over, but you can contact them at their website to order or check out their Kickstarter page. They raised $2000 more than their goal a few months ago, so the item should be in production. It doesn't automatically literally hem your pants, but you could use it for the purpose I just mentioned. Even if you got your pants hemmed, it is a great item to protect the bottom ends of your jeans.
