If you woke up 6' tomorrow, how would you benefit the most?

Would it be packs of women chasing you down to sleep with you? I doubt it because many of my friends who are 6'+ get zero play. So how you would your life change in a way that you wouldn't have to work as hard to achieve something as you do now because you believe your height is holding you back?

With me it would be not having to put up with being accused of "little man syndrome", so purely psychological. I think I'd also feel more confident.

Think short guys would benefit by

  • Not being accused of little man syndrome when angry
  •
  • More respect from women
  •
  • More respect from both genders socially
  •
  • More confident because lack of social handicap
  •
  • More promotions due to the first four reasons
  •
  • More dating options
  •
  • More mating options

Here are a few that are uppermost in my mind:

Able to compete in the board room, the election polls, or on the gridiron, if I ever wanted to.

Able to reach shelves.

Not talking to other's men's chests when standing.

Feeling confident instead of inferior.

Able to confront other men about issues without feeling either uneasy or hostile.

Able to buy shoes and clothes at clothing stores without the stigma of 'special order for the little guy.'

NOT being shorter than half of all women I meet, and 96% of all men I meet.

NOT being self-conscious and just waiting for the comment about my size from one of the big guys.

Having arms and hands that were big enough to handle tools easily.

Being able to pick up furniture and large boxes.

Hey guys, I'm new to this forum, this is my first post. I am 5'9 in the morning but actually 5'8.5 by bed time. I agree, there would be many benefits. I think that being at that height itself would not automatically make things perfect with women as mentioned by the OP. Many like tall guys, but claim to want him to be fit as well. Also, money as we all know plays a role. I believe that a man being seen as a provider (especially alpha, A-type personality guy) definitely would help.

I believe that if I were taller then I would definitely have more confidence but that is something that can also come from having a great bod and with psychological counseling (both which recently became a part of my life again). When I was 16/17, I was 5'7, it seemed as if I were a chick magnet, mainly because I had a slim figure, I had great abs until I was 20. I am currently losing 40 lbs to get back near that weight, mainly for health reasons but I can see my confidence getting a boost from that as well.

However, that height would not effect my ambition to finish grad school by next May.

I can tell you that none of my clothes would fit anymore.  I'd probably need to buy a new car as well.

I think the only real advantage I would get is more attention from women.  However I am already in an amazing relationship, so this wouldn't be much benefit for me.

Clothing, most definitely clothing. Honestly cannot contemplate what it's like to amble into a shop knowing that if there's something you like, there's a good chance it'll fit. Fit is too large? No problem, can try the next size down!

Currently, clothes shopping consists of continual disappointment and having to settle for cheaper stuff bought mainly because it fits rather than liking the style. I need an XS size in the UK (unless it's S [slim fit or tapered]). It's for the length really – often the chest is a little tight in XS but shirts and t-shirts in S are way too long. Finding an abundance of XS is very rare indeed!

I'd be a seriously sharp dressed 6-footer.

I would immediately change my heigh on my tinderprofile to attract more clamydia beetles!

Then i would date as many as i could, and ask them, if i was shorter, if they still wanted to date me, If they said yes, i would make scar them for life!

I could continue, but the main point is, i would get back at the dating life! big_smile
