So I have a female boss and she is about 5'10. She is 5 inches taller than me. Anyways, I wanted to see all your takes on this. I seem to feel like she treats me like a "puppy" in a sense. She always asks bigger guys around the place to move bigger boxes or go up high to unload things. When I offer to do something, she tells me not to worry about it and always asked this other man I work with, lets call him Bob. Bob is 6'1 and in really good shape. He is a few years younger than me but like 15 years younger than her but I swear she has a thing for him. I work for a delivery service by the way, so height isn't a factor. Is she doing this because she thinks I am weak?

But yeah, it seems like she may like you coworker. I am not expert on that though! Don't take it personal. I mean, it is less work you have to do, am'I right?

It could be that she feels you are weaker or she just thinks a taller guy is better for certain jobs. I wouldn't take it personally if she is not verbalizing anything. If she does, then bump this on over the Heightism and we will help get her fired. lol

I would say that it can be one, the other, or both. How has it been lately? If you can, why not ask the dude what is up with that. Maybe they see each other out of work and just don't tell anyone.
