I don't think it's misleading. There are people who aren't successful in certain areas of their lives, couldn't care less what anyone thinks of them, and are happy with themselves. That is confidence, the ability to be proud of oneself without letting what others think of them affect their self-image.

i would consider that delusional. nothing wrong with it as long as the man is OK being alone but when he wants to find a romantic partner, what he thinks about himself is meaningless & the only thing which matters is what the women he is attracted to thinks of him. unless he has the physical genetics to compete in the modern dating market, no mindset, humor or amount of confidence & self esteem is going to help him attract a women.

your "younger years" is the key though. in the past, prior to social media & dating apps, it was far easier for men who are not in the top 20% of attractiveness. currently, since women have top tier men from around the world giving them attention, they want nothing to do with anyone but the best men.

i strongly disagree as become less unattractive does not automatically make one attractive. face, like height, is also determined by genetics so if a man is short & average at best facially, no amount of work in the gym is going to help him attract women because, as i previously stated, women will take a tall, good looking chubby man over a jacked manlet every single time.

as opposed to being false information, this truth is one of the many harsh realities of our society in that what women find attractive in men is almost entirely genetic so therefore completely out of ones control. there are many reasons for men to stay in excellent physical shape but unless he was also blessed with height & a good face, attracting women is not one of them.

a lack of height for a women can increase her femininity while the single biggest factor to women in regards to a mans masculinity is his height so most women find shorter men to be much less masculine than a taller man.
