Favorite Sneaker?
As it stands now, I can't get enough of Nike Blazers. The over aesthetic, the jumbo Nike logo, suede toe cap, extended sole and color combinations look amazing and can add some street savviness to a blazer and jean combination. Almost like an "Urban dress casual" if that were a category. What say you? Do you have a favorite sneaker? Do you own a sneaker collection? What was your latest purchase? My latest purchase were these Jumbo Blazer in Habanero red and white. |

Comfortable elevator dress shoes recommendations? Less than 3 inches
I've had two pairs of elevator sneakers from tallmenshoes.com. They boost me up 2 inches. Very satisfied with them. Very good quality. Unfortunately my feet get tired from my heels elevated when I walk a lot. It sounds like I'm not the only one. I only wear my elevators occasionly but I do enjoy being a bit taller! |

I wore a pair to work and the comments about me trying to cover up my height wouldn't stop. So annoying. |

1 1/2 inch heel or sole max
If you're going to wear boots to add height, try to go no more than a 1.5 inches. I have a bunch of cowboy boots, chukka boots and shoes with that at max. You can still pull stuff like that off and look stylish. Anything more is ridiculous outside of elevators. |

Any of you wear lifts? My boyfriend is thinking about wearing some on job interviews and am not sure where we should buy from. Where can we get the best quality? I hear some are very uncomfortable. Anyone have any suggestions? |

Has a woman ever asked you to wear lifts?
My friend's brother is on the short side, about 5'4 and his girlfriend is 5'2. I guess they went to this work thing of hers and she wanted to wear some heels that put her an inch taller than him so she MADE him wear lifts in already thick shoes so he would be abou 5'6+. This seems wrong to me. |

No show socks?
I am not bothered to much by my socks showing but a buddy of mine hates it. He has tailored pants and suites and they all show his socks when he sits down. To me, it looks worse if you look like you don't wear any, vs wearing some that don't even match. lol Any idea on where to get no show socks for me? He wears a size 9 shoe. |

For you guys looking for smaller shoes...
I was on ebay today and was searching for Steven Madden shoes. I wear a size 10, but noticed they had sizes down to a 5 and 6 in mens! It's not just Steve Madden either. I found Coach, Eastlands and other brands when looking. It's worth checking out. Just go to ebay and set the size to what you are looking for in the left sidebar. |
