He acknowledges that he is bigger than average, but suggests that him being slightly overweight while meeting his wife was a disadvantage. The short guy on the panel correctly interjects to remind him that he is extremely tall and good looking by women's metrics. Nice enough guy, but in complete denial.
Anyone else feel this way? I have a naturally wide chest and shoulders and large calves. I workout regularly to maintain definition, but am blessed in the sense that I have naturally what I hear a lot of my guy friends spend hours trying to achieve in the gym.
I've been told by others (women, taller men) that working out to gain a bigger chest makes short guys look even shorter. While I like the way that I look and am overall confident, I'm wondering what everyone's take on this is. Do any of you avoid gaining mass because of that point of view?
Rhea Perlman and Danny Devito throwback photo from SNL
Classic throwback photo from Saturday Night Live in the 80s. If you were around, you'll remember them as the premier Hollywood taller woman-shorter guy couple.

The taller gentleman really underestimated Chan's skill here. Chan stands at 5'6 which gives the opponent an 11 inch height advantage, but Chan is built solid.
Women roundtable. Most say they would date shorter men... with a catch
Many of them claim they would date a man shorter than them in the beginning, but not surprisingly raise the bar when they discuss heels and feeling as if they'd be the more dominant one in the relationship. The video is a bit of a waste. By the end, they all concede that they'd rather date average to tall.
Caught this on Tinder. What makes her think I'd want to be friends?
You can thank her for being upfront. It begs the question though as to why she would think any man under 6' would look at this and say, "Yea! I want to be her friend!" 🙅
Kevin Hart has to be extremely grateful that he rose to fame before Social Media became ubiquitous. This photo is from a sub-reddit and as expected, the comments are vicious. Still, Kevin is a rock star and a great sport. I'd be too if I had millions in the bank.
Why is it some women won't admit they're shallow and gaslight instead?
What I mean is, there are hundreds of thousands of videos on YouTube, Tik-Tok and Facebook of women insulting short men and expressing their unwillingness to give them a chance, but when you talk about this, they insist this doesn't happen?
These videos and memes get liked and shared thousands of times daily, but if you bring this up by calling them out on this, you either get crickets or "most women aren't like this, you must hate women", etc. Similar content aimed at women which criticize their behavior, bodies or life choices get shaming language or threats to cancel.
As a guy in college, I'd like to know why we can't even bring this up.
I'm not some incel, I get dates, but it baffles me that people can't have honest conversation about something that everyone knows happens.
