Hi Multinational. Thanks for the heads up. The security measures and editing issues you've bought to our attention were implemented to prevent abuse, which happens on a lot of forums (and happened here during our earliest days). I would go about it at length here, but you can google why forums have edit limits, captchas and conventional logins.
As for polling, we will look into this. We are always looking for ways to improve ShortGuyCentral. How quickly things are implemented depends of course on finances and timing. That said, tell your friends about ShortGuyCentral. The more active our community becomes, the easier it will be to make improvements to the site.
