Google says he's 5'7.5 and possibly 5'8. You also have to keep in mind that he was from an early generation when the average height was a little shorter than now. Also, he's Chinese and from Hong Kong which is shorter than mainland China.

At his time, he probably wasn't short.

5'7.5 isn't bad so you shouldnt be too insecure. I think once someone is 5'8, they are no longer considered short but below average.
