Why is "tall" the first trait so many women ask for...
Also, being "tall" isn't really a trait! This basically sums it up. I can't even handle speaking with most of my girlfriends anymore because they have these views and as I have said on here, my boyfriend is short.

The BS of it all
Why are we underpaid? Why are we considered "okay" at best in the dating world? Why must both me and women make jokes about us? Why is it hard for us to find clothing that fits? WHY!? All because we are short. It is something we have no control over. Stats say shorter men... -More eager to please, harder workers, more trust worthy, more likely to be faithful in a relationship, have more street smarts, pay attention to the people around them, are more open minded... So wtf ladies!? Because we are short none of this matters? |

Being a short man in America
I read this blog post and wanted to share a sad truth from it... In the 23 years that have passed since then, I’ve come to two major conclusions about being a short man in North American society and they are thus: It sucks and no one wants to hear you complain about it.

Jeans... JEANS!?
I am having trouble finding jeans lately. I had to throw half of mine away as they were full of holes and junk, donated the ones that weren't horrible. I been looking around and have yet to find a pair of jeans that fit me like those did. I had quite a few Old Navy brand ones in the pile but when I went to the store they had like 0 in my size. Do they not make jeans for shorter men anymore? |

Dating advice?
I been talking to a woman online the last few weeks and it has been great. I met her on a sports forum actually. We have skyped a few times. She lives about a 3 hour drive away. We want to meet up but I am nervous. She didn't mention heights or weights. I can tell she has a great body but she looks to be about 5'6 herself. Should I bring up that I am short before we meet up or risk the embarrassment? |

Why do some women think muscles = masculine?
I was talking with a stranger while shopping yesterday. We got on the subject of men's bodies because I was picking stuck out for my boyfriend. She kept commenting that she can only be with masculine men... I stopped her and asked, what do you mean? She said "You know, big muscles, abs, tall, and fit". Since when are only tall muscle heads masculine!? |

Height and Children
Hello everyone, This my first post. I am lucky enough to have met a wonderful lady sometime ago and I now have two children (boy and a girl). As they will soon be starting school I went to meet other parents. I couldn't help but notice that not only was I the shortest guy (not very surprising) but for all the couples that were there, there was not one guy that was at least eye level with the woman. All the men were a few inches taller. Not one! For some reason I found this to very disconcerting. Anyway, I am secretly worried. I've not discussed this anyone. My kids will probably be taller than me when they start high school or have friends at my eye level. I am worried that they will be too embarrassed to be with me because I am very short. I am really scared. How to deal with this? Any ideas?

Proof of Body Shaming
I am not sure if anyone knows what "Whisper" is. It is basically an App that allows its users to confess things they normally wouldn't to people or on social networks. I came across this post on Buzzfeed and it honestly makes me feel ashamed to be me. So many dudes out there suffer because of something they can't control and even though I find dates, and I find girlfriends... It is always in the back of my mind that she "wants better". |

Shorter Men = Honest/Hard Working?
I was reading an article about short men in the business world and I was shocked to read that more often than not, shorter men are more desired for big jobs that need honesty and trust. I think this comes down to the stereo typing of shorter men feeling like they have something to prove. I have always seen myself as an honest man but it has nothing to do with my height. |

Has a woman ever asked you to wear lifts?
My friend's brother is on the short side, about 5'4 and his girlfriend is 5'2. I guess they went to this work thing of hers and she wanted to wear some heels that put her an inch taller than him so she MADE him wear lifts in already thick shoes so he would be abou 5'6+. This seems wrong to me. |

Your income and height
Just curious. I noticed that as I made more money and my lifestyle improved over the years, women are warming up to me and are more interested in dating me. What do you think? Does money make up for lack of height? |

If you become 6'1" or taller, how would u enjoy ur new height?
I would be more motivated to get in shape. Not 6 pack but very good shape. Go to the beach and have a sense of smugness and be happy most of the time. Sense of pride. how would u enjoy ur 6'1"-6'4" height to the fullest before u die? |
